HeyDay WT-1 Features, Engine and Interior:
The WT-1 is less than 20 feet and weighs about 3600 drive weight lbs which means it can be pulled easily by a smaller vehicle. All you need is a mid-size SUV, so as a renter you don’t need to be worried that you don’t have a big enough vehicle. Since the HeyDay WT-1 is a smaller boat it also has a more reputable “sportser”-style turning and acceleration that larger boats struggle with.
The WT-1 is innovative in its hull design and breaks tradition. The hull was built so there is no need for expensive, wake shaping tabs. The 117 degree angled transom creates a natural curl as water is pulled off of each of its soft-radius corners at separate times, creating a massive surf wake that can be generated on either side of the boat. The hull also creates a perfect wake due to the added width and depth of the transom as well as built in ballast tanks.
The HeyDay WT-1 comes with a Crusader Challenger 5.7 liter engine which harnesses 350 HP to reliably get the boat to plane so riding time can be maximized. On the dash the Billet toggle switches allow for simple set up whether you are wake surfing, wakeboarding or just cruising the lake.
The WT-1 kept the boat simple, but effective including the interior. The seating is removable for easy cleaning. Throughout the boat non-skid SeaDek flooring is used to keep the boat looking sharp and slip resistant. There are also pop-up cleats around the boat to help with handling usability.
